Kristen Huebler

I’m a former teacher and lifelong learner. My teaching style centered around creating a safe and welcoming community so I could meet the needs of diverse student populations using data-driven methods with the goal of helping learners build confidence, achieve goals, and find a love of learning. I have carried these values into a diverse work experience after making a career change from public education, but the underlying values that drive me remain the same: build relationships, foster community, and provide positive experiences through exemplary service in every interaction. Visit the Philosophy, Gallery, and About Me sections to learn more about who I am. Thanks for stopping by!

Kristen Huebler

I’m a Florida girl, born and raised. I have 6 years of teaching experience in Florida upper-elementary classrooms, and a passion for seeing people succeed. I graduated with my Elementary Education degree from Florida Southwestern State College in 2015, with additional certifications in ESOL, ESE, and Reading. I was honored to teach in my beautiful hometown in Southwest Florida for the majority of my career. I enjoyed creating and taking part in extracurricular programs, and building community, and am always thankful for the families that trusted me to educate their children. I also served as a mentor teacher to undergrads in Florida Gulf Coast University’s Education Degree program to pass along my love of teaching to up-and-coming educators. I made the move to Winter Garden a few years ago and took a hiatus from teaching, but I’ve missed it immensely and am now searching for a role that merges my career experience of customer service and community engagement with my roots in education.
